Belongs to Sclerodermus according to A. J. Ross and P. V. York 2000
Sister taxon: Sclerodermus quadridentatus
Type specimen: BMNH In.19116, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Swinhoe collection, BMNH), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
