Type specimen: UCLA No. 34978 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is Old Cold Creek road, which is in an Atokan marine limestone in the Bird Spring Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Old Cold Creek road
