Sister taxa: Anthonya cultriformis, Anthonya mifunensis, Crassatella (Anthonia) awadi

Type specimen: CPBA 20327.2, a shell (almost complete shell). Its type locality is Agua de la Mula (La Tosca Member, Huitrin Formation), which is in a Barremian shallow subtidal limestone/wackestone in the Huitrin Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: facultatively mobile shallow infaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Argentina (5 collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
