Sister taxon: Loerenthopluma danielae
Type specimen: MCZ 1476, a carapace. Its type locality is Cava Rossi di Monte di Malo (Morozovella lehneri zone), which is in a Lutetian carbonate limestone in Italy.
Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of Hungary (1 collection)
• Eocene of Italy (1)
