Sister taxon: Tinimomys graybulliensis

Type specimen: CM 70062, a maxilla (right maxilla preserving P4-M2). Its type locality is Big Multi Locality, which is in a Clarkforkian floodplain mudstone in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore

Distribution: found only at Big Multi Locality
