Type specimen: MCF-PVPH- 161, a set of postcrania (Anterior margin of the carapace and nearly complete plastron, left atlantal arch, and other five cervical vertebrae (third or fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and ). Its type locality is Sierra del Portezuelo (non-specified), which is in a Turonian/Coniacian terrestrial horizon in the Portezuelo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: amphibious piscivore

Distribution: found only at Sierra del Portezuelo (non-specified)
