Type specimen: MACN A1812, neotype, a mandible (right hemimandible with i2-m2). Its type locality is Puesto Estancia La Costa, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Puesto Estancia La Costa
