Type specimen: MACN A 2139, an osteoderm (2 mobile and 2 fixed osteoderms). Its type locality is Karaiken, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore
Distribution:
• Miocene of Argentina (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
