Type specimen: UA 2447, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Tributary to Kelly River, De Long Mountains, Brooks Range, which is in a Meramecian marine shale in the Kogruk Formation of Alaska.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Tributary to Kelly River, De Long Mountains, Brooks Range
