Type specimen: IGM 6850. Its type locality is Site IGM-1970, Tlayúa Quarry (Alacranes quarry), which is in an Albian/Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder-detritivore
Distribution: found only at Site IGM-1970, Tlayúa Quarry (Alacranes quarry)
