Sister taxa: Nimbadon lavarackorum, Nimbadon scottorrorum

Type specimen: NMV P186506, a partial skull (a palatale containing rigth P3-M5 and left P3-M3). Its type locality is Horseshoe West locality, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Camfield Beds Formation of Australia.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore

Distribution: found only at Horseshoe West locality
