Type specimen: NIGPAS N23, F4704101, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Huitongbao, Yumen City, which is in an Albian/Albian lacustrine - large shale in the Zhonggou Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
