Sister taxa: Umenocoleus nervosus, Umenocoleus sinuatus
Type specimen: KNUL-1131-26, an exoskeleton (forewing). Its type locality is Chukdongmyeon, Sacheonsi (KNUL collection), which is in an Albian lacustrine - large shale in the Jinju Formation of South Korea.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of South Korea (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
