Type specimen: BM 007225, a skull. Its type locality is Clayton Chalk Pit (Chalk Marl), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian carbonate chalk in the Beer Head Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Clayton Chalk Pit (Chalk Marl)
