Type specimen: CMNH 11380, a skull (A skull with right I3, C, P2–M3, left C, P2 (partial), and P3–M3). Its type locality is Sand Wash, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Washakie Formation of Colorado.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (2: Colorado, Wyoming collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
