Type specimen: BMNH P4753, a skeleton. Its type locality is Hakel (Lewis collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Hakel (Lewis collection)
