Type specimen: MACN-SC 3, a mandible (Left mandible with c-m2). Its type locality is Portezuelo Sumich Norte, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires, which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial volcaniclastic in the Pinturas Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Portezuelo Sumich Norte, Pinturas Fm., Lago Buenos Aires
