Type specimen: CNU-ODO-NN2011016, a wing (poorly preserved wings). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2011 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Jiulongshan Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2011 collection)
