Sister taxon: Leptorhynchos elegans
Type specimen: TMM 45920-1, a mandible (Fused dentaries). Its type locality is Terlingua area, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Aguja Formation of Texas.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of United States (2: Texas collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
