Sister taxa: Dinokanaga andersoni, Dinokanaga dowsonae, Dinokanaga sternbergi, Dinokanaga webbi, Dinokanaga wilsoni

Type specimen: RTM TMP8339.1132, an exoskeleton (well preserved female). Its type locality is McAbee (Royal Tyrrell Museum Collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in Canada.
