Type specimen: UAFIC5004ab, an exoskeleton (poorly preserved body with a well preserved forewing). Its type locality is Whipsaw Creek (University of Alberta), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine mudstone in the Allenby Formation of Canada.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Whipsaw Creek (University of Alberta)
