Sister taxa: Palaeodrassus cockerelli, Palaeodrassus florissanti, Palaeodrassus hesternus, Palaeodrassus ingenuus
Type specimen: 8269(8281), an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Florissant (MCZ Collection)
