Type specimen: AR-1/37, a partial skeleton (Skull, teeth, rib, limb bone & 16 dermal plates). Its type locality is Santa Maria Mine, Ariño (AR-1), which is in an Albian mire/swamp coal/mudstone in the Escucha Formation of Spain.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Santa Maria Mine, Ariño (AR-1)
