Sister taxa: Gurvanotrupes curtipes, Gurvanotrupes exiguus, Gurvanotrupes stolidus
Type specimen: NIGP 132007, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Jianshangou, Beipiao City (NIGP coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Jianshangou, Beipiao City (NIGP coll)
