Type specimen: USNM 540686, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Langley Park, which is in an Aptian fluvial-deltaic sandstone/claystone in the Patuxent Formation of Maryland.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Langley Park
