Type specimen: Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 768, a test. Its type locality is Canteras de Caraballo, loma Caoba, San Diego de los Banos, which is in an Eocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.

Ecology: slow-moving shallow infaunal deposit feeder-detritivore

Distribution: found only at Canteras de Caraballo, loma Caoba, San Diego de los Banos
