Type specimen: KAN N2/875, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Kyzyl Murun near Aktau Mountain, which is in an Eocene lacustrine shale in the Kyzylbulak Formation of Kazakhstan.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Kyzyl Murun near Aktau Mountain
