Type specimen: CAS 66699.01, a shell. Its type locality is First Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (Canadensis zone), which is in an Angulata marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Jurassic of Canada (6: British Columbia collections), United States (1: Nevada)
