Sister taxa: Pseudaetomoceras castagnolai, Pseudaetomoceras doetzkirchneri, Pseudaetomoceras shoshonense

Type specimen: GSC 129023, a shell. Its type locality is GSC C-175326, Section A 13, Castle Pass, which is in an Angulata marine siltstone in the Last Creek Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 89.5

Distribution:

• Jurassic of Canada (6: British Columbia collections)

Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
