Type specimen: MfN MB.C.9085.1, a shell. Its type locality is GI-J, Gara el Itima, which is in an Asbian basinal (siliciclastic) sandstone in the Zrigat Formation of Morocco.

Distribution: found only at GI-J, Gara el Itima
