Type specimen: M. A. S. 1593, a shell. Its type locality is Percha Creek, 3 miles southeast of Hillsboro, which is in a Famennian marine shale/limestone in the Percha Shale Formation of New Mexico.

• Devonian of Canada (1: Alberta collection), United States (6: New Mexico)
