Type specimen: UCM-18153, a hindwing. Its type locality is Florissant, Station 14, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Florissant, Station 14
