Sister taxa: Delotrochanter oryktes, Delotrochanter petersoni

Type specimen: F:AM 27561, a set of teeth (right and left lower canines; partial p2–3, complete p4–m1, m2 trigonid, all of the left side; right p3–m1; an upper canine, right P2–4, maxilla fragment with r). Its type locality is Van Tassel (Upper), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Van Tassel (Upper)
