Type specimen: FMNH PE21555. Its type locality is Pit 11, Braidwood, Mazon Creek (FMNH coll), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.

Ecology: facultatively mobile shallow infaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Carboniferous of United States (4: Illinois collections)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
