Type specimen: USNM 116758a. Its type locality is 0.2 miles southeast of Pratt Ferry, which is in a Chazyan open shallow subtidal limestone in the Pratt Ferry Formation of Alabama.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at 0.2 miles southeast of Pratt Ferry
