Type specimen: OMNH-TI-97, an exoskeleton (pronotum and elytra). Its type locality is Osb6, Shibanomata River, Oguni area, which is in a Calabrian terrestrial sandstone in the Uonuma Formation of Japan.

Distribution: found only at Osb6, Shibanomata River, Oguni area
