Type specimen: ROM 50745, a pygidium. Its type locality is Loc. 3. south side of road, 0.2 mile east of Strasburg Junction, which is in a Turinian carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Ordovician of United States (5: Virginia collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
