Sister taxa: Eremotoechia alabamensis, Eremotoechia cloudi, Eremotoechia silicica, Eremotoechia spissa

Type specimen: NMW 98.28G.35, a skull (conjoined valves). Its type locality is F-1023. About 7 km south-west of Baigara Mountain, which is in a Llandeilo carbonate limestone in the Baigara Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:
