Type specimen: LRR 1-003, housed in the Botany Department, University of Tasmania., a leaf (Cuticle). Its type locality is Little Rapid River 1, which is in an Oligocene fluvial-lacustrine mudstone in Australia.

Distribution: found only at Little Rapid River 1
