Sister taxa: Digonioceras dispansum, Digonioceras enayi, Digonioceras praecox, Digonioceras robustum, Digonioceras terebratum
Type specimen: PF Aal 100, a shell. Its type locality is Lafarge quarry, Belmont (Comptum subzone), which is in an Opalinum carbonate limestone in France.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:
• Jurassic of France (4 collections)
