Type specimen: Holotype: P40258, stored in the South Australian Museum palaeontology collection, Adelaide., a flower. Its type locality is Golden Grove - Monier East Yatala Sand Pit, which is in an Eocene channel claystone/sandstone in Australia.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Golden Grove - Monier East Yatala Sand Pit
