Type specimen: UCLA VP 3015, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is BC-1 (Chickasha Formation), which is in a Roadian/Wordian deltaic mudstone/sandstone in the Chickasha Formation of Oklahoma.

Distribution: found only at BC-1 (Chickasha Formation)
