Type specimen: CNHM (FMNH) UR 1234, a partial skeleton (skull, jaws, vertebrae, ribs, partial shoulder girdle, partial forelimbs). Its type locality is Norman, which is in a Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine shale/shale in the Hennessey Formation of Oklahoma.
