Type specimen: WAM 70.4.255, a skeleton (Complete skull and trunk shield, an anterior and posterior superognathal, both inferognathals (one incomplete), fragments of jaw cartilages, pelvic girdle and s). Its type locality is Locality 47, No. 10 Bore Area, which is in a Frasnian marine horizon in the Gogo Formation of Australia.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Locality 47, No. 10 Bore Area
