Sister taxa: Selenops benoiti, Selenops beynai
Type specimen: F932/DB/AR/SEL/CJW, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Wunderlich collection)
