Type specimen: AMNH 20355, a maxilla (Upper jaw). Its type locality is Ergilin Dzo [AMNH], which is in an Eocene terrestrial sandstone in the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at Ergilin Dzo [AMNH]
