Type specimen: IVPP V15531, a tooth (Left M2). Its type locality is East of the Erenhot railway station, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Houldjin Formation of China.

Ecology: arboreal insectivore

Distribution: found only at East of the Erenhot railway station
