Type specimen: IVPP V12612, a mandible. Its type locality is Huoshipo, Guojiazhuang Village, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Hedi Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Huoshipo, Guojiazhuang Village
