Type specimen: IVPP V6515, a set of teeth. Its type locality is Lumeiyi Village, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lumeiyi Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution: found only at Lumeiyi Village
