Type specimen: IVPP V12438, a mandible. Its type locality is Ulantatal (general area), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Ulantatal Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Ulantatal (general area)
